Middle School Math
The focal areas in Middle School Math are operations; proportionality; expressions and equations; functions; and measurement and data.
Algebra I is the gateway course that provides the footing for all upper level mathematics. This makes a solid understanding of Algebra I extremely important.
Algebra II builds directly on previous algebra skills and paves the way to pre-calculus and calculus.
This is Euclidian geometry with a small amount of coordinate and solid geometry included. There is also a unit about basic trigonometric functions.
Pre-Cal includes elements of trigonometry, analytic geometry, and college algebra. It prepares for the concepts, problems, and techniques experienced in calculus.
